Project Runway vs. RuPaul's Drag Race - Who Wore It Better?

With Season 7 of Project Runway and Season 2 of RuPaul's Drag Race currently airing, we are getting twice the extravaganza and eleganza of fashion every week.

This week on Runway, Jonathan created a ridiculous white cotton organza dress that, according to Michael Kors, was comparable to a toilet paper tornado. At the time, I couldn't figure out why it looked so familiar. Then I remembered RuPaul's country lemonade-inspired gown she wore during the final judging in this week's episode of Drag Race

Project Runway, Season 7 - Episode 6

"There’s only one pretty child in the world, and every mother has it."

Project Runway, Season 7 - Episode 5

First of all, my sincerest apologies for neglecting last week's Campbell Soup/heart disease/red challenge, especially considering it had such a heartwarming ending - Jesus was sent packing! And it was about time. His hoochie dress was a tacky mess, not that we shouldn't have been surprised. Amy got the win she deserved back in the potato sack challenge, and I am still unsure as to whether I liked Mila's star-spangled gown. But let's not live in the past...

Project Runway, Season 7 - Episode 3

Oh, how I love when Project Runway designers are forced to work in teams! Since the very first season, we've been pretty much guaranteed drama when it comes to doubling up - Season 1's Nora and Kevin, Season 3's Angela and Vincent and Season 4's Sweet P and Elisa come immediately to mind. We all knew Ping's days on the runway were numbered, so I'm glad we got a good partner challenge in early. I'm sure Jesse was really excited, too!
