It's a story you might never believe if you didn't know how amazingly true it is. Christina Perri was just a struggling musician in Los Angeles working as a waitress when choreographer Stacey Tookey fell in love with her demo, an emotional ballad called "Jar of Hearts." The song was recorded and used on So You Think You Can Dance, after which it sold over 100,000 copies on iTunes in less than a month. Soon came a record deal, late-night talk show appearances and, now, a music video.
Okay, so the heart sucking is perhaps a bit much, but you cannot deny the beauty of Stacey Tookey's choreography. It's refreshing to see dancing in a video that isn't vulgar booty bouncing or another ripoff of "Single Ladies." And, of course, SYTYCD's own Allison Holker (S2, S7 All-Star) and Kathryn McCormick (S6, S7 All Star) look gorrrrrrrgeous!
