Magical Monday Moments: Glee Does Rocky Horror

Glee's sophomore season has been off to a rather bumpy start, hasn't it? And it seems as though no one can agree on the best and worst moments—I wasn't a huge fan of "Britney/Brittany" episode but loved "Duets," while others made "Grilled Cheesus" a Twitter trending topic for days and thought "Duets" was a disappointing slump. And while part of the problem certainly has to do with our huge expectations, it also has a lot to do with the hype the Glee franchise builds for itself.

All that being said, I am 100% buying into the hype for next week's episode...

In honor of Halloween (and because who doesn't want to do the "Time Warp" again?), Glee is paying tribute to The Rocky Horror Picture Show, chock full of costumes, stage shows and, of course, singing. Today, Entertainment Weekly revealed some sneak peeks into the upcoming episode that have me shivering with anti.....cipation (I know, I know... everyone is making that pun. I just couldn't help it).

Tina warns Brad and Janet!

Kurt as Riff Raff

Finn as Brad (sweet glasses)

Dr. Carl as Eddie (hopefully they don't show him cut up in the dinner table...)

The music is being released as a separate album on iTunes tomorrow. I've listened to a few previews and my favorite so far is Mercedes' rendition of "Sweet Transvestite," though I'm sure it'll change as I listen to it on repeat for the next week.

Take a look at the preview for the episode, directed by my SYTYCD twin, Adam Shankman:

Are you all excited for Glee to take on Rocky Horror, or are you afraid it's going to be another awful theme episode? And at the end of the day, as long as we see Sam, Finn and Mr. Schue's abs—does it really matter? Sound off in the comments!

Side Note: Tomorrow's episode is a repeat... of "Hairography." Odd choice, no?
