Trailer Tuesdays: Morning Glory

Diane Keaton. Rachel McAdams. Harrison Ford. Do you really need more than that to want to see the upcoming Morning Glory?

Okay, fine then.

Becky Fuller (Adams) takes on a position at Daybreak, the country's worst morning talk show (could it possibly be worse than Good Day LA...?) and brings on famous anchor Mike Pomeroy (Ford) to revitalize the show. Unfortunately, Pomeroy is uninterested in playing nice with co-host Colleen Peck (Keaton) and the two clash at every possible moment while Becky's new job takes over her life more and more.

Yes, it sounds like a lot of movies you've already seen (and perhaps a bit of a 2010 twist on Anchorman?), but I see the difference in the aforementioned amazing lineup of leads and the minds behind the scenes—director Roger Michell (Notting Hill), producer J.J. Abrams (Felicity, Alias, Star Trek and a little show called Lost) and writer Aline Brosh McKenna (The Devil Wears Prada, 27 Dresses).

All that, and the trailer just makes me smile. Check it out for yourselves:

I love when Diane Keaton plays a zany lady; it reminds me of her freakouts in The First Wives Club. And any chance to watch Rachel McAdams is a welcome opportunity. Throw Harrison Ford into the mix and it's quite the amazing trio I would've never predicted.

Special bonus: Anyone else notice Ty Burrell (aka Modern Family's Phil Dunphy) on Daybreak? I really hope his role is more than a quick cameo!
