Family Jules: I Burned My Lady Fingers

From birthdays to first kisses to successful neti pot usage, there was a lot to celebrate on last night's episodes of Modern Family and Cougar Town.

Let's celebrate the best moments...

Modern Family
Season 2, Episode 7: "Chirp"
Claire is bedridden by the flu, leaving Phil to tackle some chores around the house while he tries to stay afloat in his real estate job. Jay tries to remember which moment Gloria is celebrating the anniversary of and Cam gets Lily cast in a questionable commercial.
"Haley told you about that? It's just a dream!" - Dylan, who might want to sing "Underneath the Moonlight (Do Me)" to Mrs. Robinson Claire.

"Cam, did you just sell our baby?" - Mitchell, who is just jealous of barn folk theater folk.

"Sorry. I burned my lady fingers." - Phil, who has seen Luke kiss a pigeon on the lips.

"Can no one protect us from these high prices?!?!" - Commercial Lily, who was performing in a warehouse behind a mattress store, not to be confused with MGM.

Manny: Then was what that siren?
Jay: It was your mother.
Gloria: I was not that loud.
Jay: Cars were pulling over.

"Not when you're on the business side of it." - Phil, who transformed his college cheerleading baton into the Burglar Basher.
(Modern) Cougar Town
Season 2, Episode 7: "Fooled Again (I Don't Like It)"
The Cul De Sac Crew struggles to get Jules the perfect birthday present and Bobby tries to keep up with Travis' college knowledge (like the ultimate collegiate tool - the neti pot). Meanwhile, Jules attempts to start a more meaningful friendship with Andy, who may just be playing her like fool.
"Anything would be fine, as long as it's perfect and shows how much you care about me." - Jules, who takes her Disney characters very seriously and wants a necklace made out of Tuck Tuck's tusk.

"Let's team up and kill her." - Grayson to Laurie, whose cousin owns a gun rang (or maybe just a backyard next to a daycare center).

"Off my boat, Cover Girl!" - Bobby, whose butt is a riveting treatise on the human condition and who got Jules a tub of gumballs for their 10th anniversary.

And of course, the amazingness that was Ellie, the human tape recorder:
"Look at my rings, my rings, my rings."
"His real adventure was raising you."
"He's an evil genius. He's Keyser Söze!"
"Once you go Andy, all the rest are blandy."
What did you think of last night's episodes? Are you concerned Luke is trying to sell organs at the Black Market? Do you want to hear Dylan sing a song about Claire? And wasn't Andy's deflection of Barb was pure genius?? Sound off!
