Trailer Tuesdays: Rabbit Hole

Sadness: an emotion that we try to avoid at all costs. An emotion not easily portrayed by an actor. And yet, when pulled off, sadness can be one of the most mesmerizing feelings to witness on the silver screen. Every time I watch Revolutionary Road, I have a feeling of emptiness and sorrow, but am left in absolute awe of the brilliant performers who brought me there (all hail Winslet and DiCaprio!).

I have a feeling I'll be saying the same about Rabbit Hole.

Starring Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart, Rabbit Hole explores the heartache and devastation following the loss of a child. Take a look at the trailer:

Certainly not a movie to go see before you go to a party—this is definitely a snowy Sunday afternoon kind of movie.

Kidman gets a lot of flack for having a stone cold face, but all reports mention how fantastic she is in this role. From the looks of the trailer, it looks like both Kidman and Eckhart deliver powerful performances. And with the Oscar nominations only 7 weeks away, you may be hearing more of Rabbit Hole very soon.
