I think we might have to amend the phrase "She could wear anything and still look good, even a burlap sack!" to say "a well-designed burlap sack." Because as we saw last night, even the fiercest of models can look like she weighs 700 pounds in the hands of a sub-par designer.

Ladies and gentlemen, it's game time. From the end of December through the beginning of March, I see more movies than the rest of the year combined in anticipation of the Golden Globes and Academy Awards. Along with a few of my fellow movie-lovers, I try to see most (if not all) of the major Oscar nominees: Best Movie, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress. So far I've done fairly well, though I won't know for certain until February 2nd when the nominations are announced (predictions coming soon). Still on the list to see: The Hurt Locker, Avatar and The Blind Side. I'm a bit behind in my reviews, so here are the movies I've seen since Christmas:

The seventh season of Project Runway could not have come sooner. Literally. If it had come sooner, it would've been before the Season 6 finale. But, let's be honest, if there were ever a season to quickly brush under the rug and forget about, it was Season 6. Do you even remember who won? Me neither. Luckily, Season 7 is bringing us back to good ol' New York City, Atlas Apartments and Parsons School of Design. Feels like home again.

Hold onto your weaves, trannies. The world-famous drag queen who sashay-ed back into the spotlight last winter with her fabulous reality competition RuPaul's Drag Race will be training the future divas of the world in this summer's RuPaul's Drag U.
I just received this information direct from Logo TV:

With 2010 already a few days in, it's time to start looking forward to the end of holiday season reruns! Four added shows, a new (and hopefully better) season of Project Runway, the sophomore season of RuPaul's Drag Race and the back nine episodes of Glee - there is much to look forward to. Oh, did I forget to mention something? Oh, right. THE SIXTH AND FINAL SEASON OF LOST BEGINS IN 5 WEEKS. The mayhem that is going to be unleashed on Lost fans every Tuesday is sure to be absolutely legen-wait for it-dary. And speaking of How I Met Your Mother, next week's episode is the sitcom's 100th; it will not only guest star Project Runway mentor Tim Gunn, but also feature a musical number with Neil Patrick Harris taking the spotlight. Happy New Year, indeed.
