Project Runway, Season 8 - Finale Pt. 2
Well, folks, there you have it. The end of Project Runway Season 8 has come and gone. And before we get talking about the conclusion of what was arguably the series' most dramatic season to date, I'm going to protect the innocent...
SPOILER ALERT! If you haven't yet watched last night's Project Runway Season Finale and Reunion (and have somehow avoided the onslaught of blog posts, Facebook statuses and tweets), look away before you turn to stone!

Family Jules: Who Wants to Roll in the Hay?
Images courtesy of ABC
It's almost time for Halloween—a night of trick-or-treating, haunted houses and slutty cats (with rough tongues, of course). Modern Family and Cougar Town got into the Halloween spirit with two hilarious episodes last night.
I'm fixin' to take a look at the best moments...

Trailer Tuesdays: Megamind

Yes, I know. This Trailer Tuesday post is tardy for the party. I thought I could get away with it if it was still Tuesday on some remote island near the International Date Line, but no such luck. You can call this Watch This Wednesday if you'd like. Or, you could quit arguing semantics with me and check out this awesome trailer.

Magical Monday Moments: Glee Inspires Political Ad
I am not one to often enter into heated political discourse (though it does happen on occasion), and this post is by no means meant to begin a political debate. That being said, it's pretty clear that I'm an enormous Gleek, so I just couldn't pass on posting this video for this week's Magical Monday Moment.

Project Runway, Season 8 - Finale, Pt. 1
A lot happened last night on the penultimate episode for this eighth season of Project Runway... and yet not much happened at all. We got some brisk visits from Uncle Tim, a brief look at the Fashion Week collections and an elimination that was weeks, nay months, in the making.

Family Jules: We've Been Shawshanked

The laughs just keep on coming with Modern Family and Cougar Town this season. Seriously, what did we do before these shows? How did we know how to properly drink red wine? And how did we even begin to grasp the intricacies of Columbian culture?
Let's take a look at the best moments of last night's episodes...

Magical Monday Moments: Glee Does Rocky Horror
Glee's sophomore season has been off to a rather bumpy start, hasn't it? And it seems as though no one can agree on the best and worst moments—I wasn't a huge fan of "Britney/Brittany" episode but loved "Duets," while others made "Grilled Cheesus" a Twitter trending topic for days and thought "Duets" was a disappointing slump. And while part of the problem certainly has to do with our huge expectations, it also has a lot to do with the hype the Glee franchise builds for itself.
All that being said, I am 100% buying into the hype for next week's episode...

Project Runway, Season 8 - Episode 12
Good gracious, we have a lot to cover from this week's Project Runway. The final challenge before Fashion Week was quite a doozy and, while the episode itself dragged on for eons, the end result was shocking to say the least. Let's get to it...

Family Jules: Eat the Sword

Deep dark secrets were revealed on last night's Modern Family and Cougar Town. Unflattering bike shorts, secret one-night stands—nothing was sacred and it it had me both laughing and running into the bathroom to cry (seriously, not all gay men do it...).
So before I head out for my troga class, let's Lady and the Tramp this bitch and take a look at the best moments...

Project Runway, Season 8 - Who Is Going to Fashion Week?
Images courtesy of Lifetime
It feels like this season of Project Runway has been going on for years. Remember Jason in the bowler hat and the party store challenge? They feel like distant shadows of the past! Though the journey has been long, the end is now close at hand.
On tomorrow night's episode, we'll find out who will advance to compete at Fashion Week! Check out the preview below:
Any else get Battlestar Galactica flashbacks as Tim dramatically calls out "The Final Five"?
Of course, there won't be five for long, assuming they don't pull a Season 3 and send four to the finale (or a Season 4/5 and have four designers create collections and only allow three to compete). So who are the Top Three going to be? Here are my predictions...

Trailer Tuesdays: Morning Glory

Diane Keaton. Rachel McAdams. Harrison Ford. Do you really need more than that to want to see the upcoming Morning Glory?
Okay, fine then.
Magical Monday Moments: Smell Like a Monster
Okay okay okay... yes, I know it's not Monday. But due to a wondrous three day weekend (thanks to a certain 1400s voyage), this Magical Monday Moment is actually a... Terrific Tuesday Treat?
We could argue semantics all day. Let's get to this week's gem...

Project Runway, Season 8 - Episode 11
If you were to watch only the previews for each episode of this season of Project Runway, you might think it was actually a season of The Real World. Ambulances speeding to the hospital! Breakdowns on the runway! Accusations of cheating that bring this season screeching to a halt! But you and I, dear readers, know a different story. A story in which publicity departments do their best to bump up the drama in a season that perhaps isn't as chock full of drama as we originally thought.
Let's take a look, shall we?

New Dance Central Demo Video Released
You may recall a few months ago reading my post about Dance Central, a game coming to the Xbox 360 that utilizes new Kinect technology to allow players to perform advanced choreography. The more accurate your moves, the higher your score. Despite my total lack of gaming abilities, this is one game that has my So You Think You Can Dance-loving heart all aflutter.
And now a new video demo of the game has been released! Check it out:

Trailer Tuesdays: The Tempest

We are such stuff / As dreams are made on, and our little life / Is rounded with a sleep.
The Tempest was Shakespeare's final play and one of my favorites — and one of the only pieces I enjoyed reading in my high school British Literature course (don't even get me started on Jane Eyre - ugh). So when word came 'round that Julie Taymor (Across the Universe, Frida, Titus) was directing an adaptation of the comedy about revenge, love, freedom and power, I was more than excited. Even better, Helen Mirren was announced as Taymor's pick for Prospera, a gender-bended version of the magical protagonist.
So now that a trailer is circling the blogosphere, does the growing anticipation for the December premiere continue? Take a look:

Magical Monday Moments: Dog Washing on The Apprentice
I can remember being on a JetBlue flight six years ago on the night of The Apprentice Season 1 finale and seeing almost every screen on the plane tuned in to NBC to see who would be hired - Bill or Kwame (six year old spoiler alert: Bill won). There's no doubt that the show gained major popularity because of its endless boardroom drama and The Donald's addictive catch phrase "You're fired." But it's not always the tension and screaming that make the show something worth watching, which brings me to this week's Magical Monday Moment (and a slight rant):

Project Runway, Season 8 - Episode 10
My oh my, Project Runway fans. Last night's episode certainly ran us through the gauntlet, huh? A memorable episode indeed with emotions at an all-time high.
Before I start tearing up again, let's get to it, shall we?
