With last year's Princess and the Frog and this year's Tangled (currently in theaters), Disney is doing its best to bring the princess back to pop culture.

And while many of us look back fondly at characters like Cinderella and Jasmine, perhaps we should take a closer look at the messages being sent by Disney heroines. That's exactly what Chicago-based improv troupe The Second City, home of Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert and Steve Carrell, is doing with its online video series, "Advice from a Cartoon Princess."

With Thanksgiving a mere two days away, the official movie season is about to begin, though you could certainly argue it all began with last week's release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 1.  We've already covered upcoming movies Burlesque and The Black Swan. So what else is hitting theaters soon that is sure to get audiences excited?

Out tomorrow, Love & Other Drugs reunites Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway in a funny, romantic and incredibly nude depiction of the rise of Viagra in the late '90s.

In other news, yesterday marked the one year anniversary of Please Welcome Your Judges. The end of "Season 1" occurs amidst some of the highest traffic the site has seen—and I can only hope it continues growing onwards and upwards from here. What started out as a way to share my thoughts about So You Think You Can Dance has now expanded to include weekly series (Magical Monday Moments, Trailer Tuesdays, Family Jules), reviews on several shows and the latest and greatest information on television, movies and pop culture.

In case you haven't noticed, I am a big fan of reality TV. Yes, I know it's ridiculous and it will most likely be the destructive downfall of our civilization, but it's just so fun to watch! Plus, in my defense, I prefer reality competition shows over disgusting dreck like The Hills or Bad Girls Club.

So just imagine my glee as Barney Stinson ran down a list of reality competition elimination catchphrases on this week's How I Met Your Mother. These catchphrases are now something of a rite of passage for these shows—I always look forward to the premieres of new competition shows so I can see what "clever" phrase they came up with. One of the worst ever? Season 1 of The Fashion Show when the eliminated designer was told "We're just not buying it" and the safe designer told "You're still in the competition, but you're hanging by a thread." Ugh.

CBS didn't post a separate clip of the scene and I try to avoid posting YouTube videos of people filming their screens, but thankfully PopWrap posted the video themselves. Check it out:

Magical Monday Moments: Robin Sparkles

One of the best episodes in the six-season history of CBS' hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother is without a doubt Season 2's "Slap Bet" (it also happens to be my all-time favorite). Not only did it begin the wonderous Slap Bet (and Slap Bet Commissioner) which have fueled countless jokes throughout the series since, but it also introduced us to one of televisions brightest stars (and this week's Magical Monday Moment): Robin Scherbatsky's 80s Canadian pop star alter ego, Robin Sparkles.

Tonight's episode, entitled "Glitter," brings Robin Sparkles back with a flashback to her hit Canadian kids show, Space Teens. The episode will also introduce us to her co-star and best friend Jessica Glitter, played by former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger. Here's a preview...

If you are anything like me, dear readers, then you cannot believe it is already November. It seems like just yesterday we were taking a look at the summer TV lineup and giving out Glee superlative awards. And now it's 32 degrees outside when I wake up and Christmas decorations are appearing in malls everywhere.

But before we dive headfirst into singing Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You" (which of course cannot be done until after Thanksgiving), let's use this week's Magical Monday Moment to take one more glance back at October and one of the best Halloween costumes of the year.
