Family Jules: National Man of Mystery

And so begins our journey through life without Cougar Town. Well, until mid-April, that is. I didn't tune in to Matthew Perry's Mr. Sunshine, but hope it treated the Cougar Town time slot with the love and respect it deserves.

Although the Cul De Sac Crew is on hiatus, our favorite modern family is thankfully still chugging along quite hilariously.

So before we get into a huge debate on the pronunciation of Ibiza (Ibitha?), let's take a look at the best moments from last night's Modern Family...

Modern Family
Season 2, Episode 14: "Bixby's Back"
Everyone is celebrating Valentine's Day and, of course, nothing goes as planned. Cam and Mitchell argue over who Mitchell's assistant really has a crush on, Manny convinces Hayley to dump her boyfriend in an attempt to woo her, and Jay's surprise dinner plans for Gloria unravel more by the second. Meanwhile, Phil and Claire try to be more mature than last year's role playing ordeal and epically fail.
"Most of these people could've been here on VE Day." - Claire, who can't stand the word panties. Or underpanties.

"Baby doll, I've been lying to my wife for 16 years." - Phil Clive Bixby, the appletini-loving national man of mystery.

"Jay, why you no be more romantic to me?!" - Jay imitating Gloria, but sounding more like Natasha from Rocky and Bullwinkle.

"David never sent me a jar of his own tears." - Hayley, who hasn't been single since she was 9.

"She's had the romantic, she's had the intellectual—how about all that in one fine little brown package?" - Manny, the king of subtlety.

"I'm usually pretty good at catching things from women in bars." - Clive, who thinks Claire Juliana looks delicious enough to cook a pizza on/in.

"Can't wait to mount your head in my trophy room." - Cam, who is Jay's big gay angel, to Broderick the saboteur.

"Well, pick out china and move to Vermont." - Mitchell, unimpressed with Cam and Broderick's elevator hug.

"I'm the second wife, Jay. Why do you treat me like I'm the first?" - Gloria, who won Valentine's Day even if it isn't a competition (it is).
What did you think of last night's episode? Who do you think Broderick really had a crush on? Do you think the fact that Manny is Hayley's step-uncle is a bigger deal than their age difference? And are you hoping someone serenades you with Dylan's new hit song "Imagine Me Naked" this Valentine's Day? Sound off in the comments!
