Family Jules: I Can't Be Satisfied

It's been some time since the last new episode of Modern Family, but this one was worth the wait. School plays, practical jokes and an escort service ad all helped remind me why this show is one of the funniest on television. Now if only it's friend Cougar Town would return already. Oh, that's right... that happens next week! Cougar Town returns Monday, April 18th after Dancing with the Stars, then back to its normal time slot Wednesday, April 20th at 9:30pm/EST.

Can you tell I'm excited?

But before I get ready to get my Penny Can on once again, let's look at the best moments of last night's Modern Family.

Modern Family
Season 2, Episode 19: "The Musical Man"
Cameron becomes the interim music director at Manny and Luke's middle school and Phil has a new brilliant idea to advertising his real estate business. Meanwhile, Jay's brother visits and Gloria tries to bring them closer together.
"Now all that driving around your mom does will finally serve a purpose." - Phil, a family man and John.

"Well, we took the scenic route but we ended up in the same place." - Alex, who was eagerly looking forward to Haley's SAT results arriving.

"And you know what I end up with? Wet dreams! ... I heard it as soon as a said it, just leave it alone." - Cam, who hates when Mitchell throws a wet blanket on his dreams.

"That's why Columbia is such a peaceful Utopia." - Jay, who should probably remember not to sit in a chair when he's rigged it to fall apart.

"Years from now some of these kids will be still asking about how I Sondheim-ized them!" - Cam, a.k.a. Bob Fussy.

"No intermission! What? Are we animals?!" - Mitchell, who is supportive enough to bring Cam his favorite sandwich, a PB&J (pear, brie and jambon... of course).

Special Shout Out to the Two Amazing Visual Gags: The "WE LOVE THE F WORD" finale to Cam's A Musical Trip Around the World and Phil's advertisement on the van ("I Can't Be Satisfied" next to Claire's picture and "I Can Make Your Dreams Come True" next to Haley's).
Cougar Town
Sneak Preview
Although Vulture's web series Cougar Town: Writers vs. Actors sadly came to a close last week, they gave us a few sneak peeks at the final episodes of Season 2. Take a look...

Yes, I am already following @TheLarmy on Twitter. Also keep an eye out during Monday's episode for a phone number that will supposedly connect to a way to buy an authentic Penny Can!

Tune in next week when we'll finally have Modern Family and Cougar Town back together in Family Jules bliss!
