Trailer Tuesdays: Hanna

We are almost out of the woods, dear readers—the post-Oscar slump of February and March is beyond us and before you know it summer movie season will be here, followed by a fall/winter of Oscar season.

Of course, April is an odd month for movies all on its own. There are a lot of pre-summer releases starting to come out with bigger profiles than the aforementioned Movie Dead Zone, but the potential for horrid flop is still there. For this week's Trailer Tuesday, let's look at a movie that looks to be one of the first greats of 2011—Joe Wright's Hanna.

Hanna (Saoirse Ronan) is a teenage girl who was raised in the wilderness of Finland by her father (Eric Bana), an ex-CIA agent, to be a vicious warrior. She is sent into the civilized world on a mission, all the while being hunted, especially CIA operative Marissa Wiegler (Cate Blanchett). Check out the trailer below:

Set to a killer (get it?) soundtrack by The Chemical Brothers, Hanna looks like it's going to be a movie you won't want to miss.

Hanna hits theaters this Friday, April 8.
