I'm not exactly sure what's wrong with me, but I have found it physically impossibly for me to avoid Joyful Noise, the upcoming movie starring Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah. Those two divas are calling out to me like sirens to a doomed sailor, and although the trailer makes me cringe and wince, I'm pretty positive I'll be seeing it.

Listen, I know it doesn't look good. Dolly—though I love her to pieces—looks like the Madame Tussaud version of herself, the young romance is beyond forced, and the need for an official moratorium on "Man in the Mirror" is long overdue.
I should probably just revisit Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit and call it a day, but sometimes I just can't help myself. I mean, c'mon, Queen Latifah calls Dolly "Edward Scissorhands." Don't lie and tell me you didn't laugh!
Joyful Noise hits theaters January 13th.
