Meet the Cast of RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race

Though only four seasons in, RuPaul's Drag Race has already amassed a crop of alumni so fierce and memorable that the list of potential queens that could be considered all stars is a long one. So when it came to casting the upcoming season of RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race, I cannot imaging how difficult the selection process could have been.

Yesterday, Logo released the cast list for All Stars, and while there are a few questionable entries, it truly is a line up of drag stars. Take a look at the announcement video after the jump...

So our "All Stars" are:
  • Nina Flowers (Season 1)
  • Shannel (Season 1)
  • Tammie Brown (Season 1)
  • Jujubee (Season 2)
  • Pandora Boxx (Season 2)
  • Raven (Season 2)
  • Alexis Mateo (Season 3)
  • Manila Luzon (Season 3)
  • Mimi Imfurst (Season 3)
  • Yara Sofia (Season 3)
  • Chad Michaels (Season 4)
  • Latrice Royale (Season 4)

For me, the big headscratchers on the list are Alexis Mateo, Mimi Imfurst and Yara Sofia, who are all coincidentally from the same season. I go back and forth on Tammie Brown, but Ru always speaks very highly of her and she only had two episodes in Season 1. I wish we could've had Ongina or Willam, but at least old villains like Rebecca Glasscock and Phi Phi O'Hara were excluded. Obviously they decided not to include any of the former winners, but I would've loved to see Bebe Zahara Benet, Raja and Sharon Needles join the cast (oops, did I exclude Tyra Sanchez...?).

Are you happy with this line-up? Who do you wish was appearing as an all star, and who would you kick out to make room for them?

RuPaul's All Star Drag Race premieres this October on Logo.
